I paint abstract acrylic paintings with sand and a lot of structure on 3D canvas. The inspiration is found through encounters with people and their different lives and experiences. It's a feeling rather than a subject that I'm trying to recreate. For me, the painting is ready when it feels like the feeling is in harmony with itself. Thus, it is not necessary that it be a harmonious one. It's only emotions that control what happens, usually I have no idea about it myself until I am done and can see it, sitting there on the board, looking back at me. I do not rename my paintings so as not to affect the feeling that I want you as a viewer to form yourself. I simply do not want to color your feeling with mine. I believe that creativity and art is something that exists within all of us. It is only a matter of daring to open up and allow oneself to be judged and examined.
