Their kindergarten kids and toddlers loved to play together. The Pouch Australia business journey started 3 years later. Kate & Kate had been focussed on their families and part time work but were completely overwhelmed by the amount of toys spread through their homes. Kate C had an idea and explained to Kate O about the toy bag she and her brothers had as kids. She described the denim fabric that was pulled up with coloured string through many eyelets around the edge. They were unable to find anything like it to buy in shops or online. So with chaos in their homes, third pregnancies underway and a love for creativity and design, Kate & Kate started their business journey. Kate O crafted the first prototypes and the Play Pouch was born - The ultimate play mat & toy bag in one! Now they have expanded their range and continue to design innovative products for busy families across the globe!
