Anna and Patrick came up with the idea for the first product, a wine spritzer consisting of rosé wine and homemade orange lemonade (cult drink in Rheinhessen), filled in glass bottles, in 2012 due to their connection to the Rheinhessen wine-growing region with its peculiarities and customs. From the beginning, it was clear for the two Rhine-Hessians that they wanted to place their product Sixty Forty in the context of regional origin. The product and brand name based on the mixing ratio was therefore written in the spelling of the Rhenish Hessian dialect, which is also repeatedly taken up in communication around the product. In addition to the region of origin and the carefully selected regional organic wines, bottle design around “Henry” and “Lotte” plays a central role at Sechzisch Vierzisch GmbH. The winegrowers' couple decorates the bottle labels of the wine spritzers as a printed drawing. The design of the bottle labels was awarded the German Design Award in 2018.
