How It All Began When my grandfather passed away in 2017, we wanted to create something special for my grandmother to honor his memory. One day, while visiting the cemetery, she saw a bluebird, a rare sight at the time. Inspired by this, we decided to make her a piece of art featuring a bluebird. Since they both loved beachcombing and had an extensive sea glass collection, we decided to incorporate blue sea glass into the artwork. One day, while she was out, we snuck over to their house and used some of their blue sea glass to create our first picture: a blue sea glass bird perched on a branch. Our family loved the sea glass art and soon began requesting pictures for their homes as well. As demand grew, we began making and selling our sea glass art. Over the years, we have made numerous changes and improvements, developing our unique style. We love experimenting with new techniques and have recently started incorporating watercolor into our pictures. Our Commitment to Sustainability Sustainability is at the heart of our art. When collecting from the beaches, we only take what we need and always do our best to clean up along the way. We never take any living organisms and triple-check every shell we collect. We were fortunate to receive a large sea glass collection from a family friend who had been collecting since the 1970s. This allows us to use all-natural sea glass in our art.
