Our brand was created to be a love letter to women of all shades. Whether you’re a makeup pro or newbie, we have something for you. Do you remember the first time you were allowed to wear makeup? For many of us, it was a bubble gum flavored lip gloss we got from the local beauty supply store. Or was it playing around on your mom’s dresser without per permission? I used to go to my mom’s dresser and try on her lipstick and Estee Lauder perfume. This is where my love affair with makeup began. I can remember trying on a plum color lipstick that was so pretty. Shoutout to my aunt “Veenie” who did my first full face “beat” for prom. “Today she is in her 70’s and will still “beat” y’all under the table with her makeup brush. These are memories that I cherish, reminiscent of how many girls began their love of makeup. I wanted to create a brand that made all women feel welcome. I remember going to the makeup counter looking at lipstick and being told, “this one is for you honey”. It was normally a dark berry, brown, or some random dark lip color. I am a dark girl and felt like I should have had more options. I wanted to create something for the “average” girl, to the “extra”, girl that would make “any girl”, feel welcome.
