Cocoabeans Bakeshop - a certifed gluten-free bakery was born in 2010 because Betsy Hiebert found gluten-free options to be tasteless, dry, gritty and just plain terrible. There had to be a way to make food more delicious. In 2010, I opened my first retail store on Tache Avenue. Tache was a great place to learn about business, grow and learn some more. Four and a half years later we outgrew that space and moved to a larger space on Corydon Avenue and started offering restaurant food. At five years in - we have now outgrown this space - not in output but in storage capacity. March of 2019 - or the beginning of COVID - we needed to add another revenue stream and thus our baking mixes were born! We hope you'll love them as much as we do!
