Sey Studios is the work of Ashleymarie Sey Lively. She makes art to inspire and encourage. Her lighthearted whimsy and joyful illustrations light up any room. Her designs feature playful line work, cheerful color choices, and enchanted expression. Sey's illustrations are full of character and creativity, emulating the child inside us all. Her design and products are meant to bring hope and happiness to all who see it. As a freelance illustrator, Sey works in multiple mediums from acrylic, marker, watercolor, gouache, and even digital. No matter what, her art brings a smile to the soul. Working both traditionally and digitally has allowed her work to encompass many products and styles. Recently she has found a love for surface pattern design with her work. She also has illustrated 3 children's books. Her work has been displayed in over 100 gallery shows all over the United States. Besides being an artist, Sey also is a gallery coordinator and curator in her local community. She also teaches art and business to creatives seeking to grow with their talents. Sey is living her dream of creating out of her home studio and homeschooling her two girls with her husband. They currently live in southern California with their beloved dogs, Luna & Gizmo. Sey believes in making the world brighter with every artwork she makes and with every person she encounters.
