About Barkin'

Barkin' is a female owned and operated business creating stylish but practical accessories for both pup and human. Our mission is to create pieces that are design-forward and made with durable materials in order to enrich your time together with your pup. Founded in spring 2022, Barkin' was inspired by our rescue pup, Boeing, who had a knack for getting into every single treat pouch we tried. The founder, Ines, also wasn't a big fan of crumbs in all her pockets. What began as a journey to create the best treat pouch that also felt like fashion, blossomed into a growing line of pieces that are enjoyable to use, lightweight for sensitive dogs and stylish. Based in Vancouver, we source our materials and components across the globe, from Southeast Asia to the UK. They are minimal, stylish and practical. Our walk essentials are lightweight and airy! Our main goals for the future: to give back by donating to animal charities such as the BC SPCA Medical Emergency Fund, Conservation International, and World Wildlife Fund Canada.Read their story
