The starting shot of The Beer Carpenter In March 2012, the start went to the odyssey that we now know as the Beer Carpenter. Redecorating the bar The next six months stood in the signs of the construction and brewery, and with the help of friends and families, the travel guild could finally be celebrated. Here the bar at Griffenfeldsgade was redecorated. Beer joiner opens In August '12, the doors were broken open and the beer flowed for the first time from the cocks of the Beer Joiner. At the time, all the beer was brewed in the basement and pumped directly from the yeast tank via the drawer tails and into the glass to the guests. It was a small brewing facility that had to be operated by a one-man army — hard work, but that's where it all began. Production advances to Gørløse The following year had to be expanded and production moved outside Copenhagen in an old dairy where there was high ceilings and room for creativity to blossom in earnest.
