Meet Dawn and Rich Brook, the passionate candy-creator parents, and their extraordinary children. Kolya, the candy enthusiast at 13, has a knack for discovering the tastiest flavors. Emma, the 16 year-old candy artist, sprinkles creativity into every sugary masterpiece. And then there’s Bella, the 12-year-old joy-bringer, whose laughter is the secret ingredient that makes our treats truly magical! But here’s what makes our candy crew even more remarkable–the love that binds us goes beyond borders and boundaries. BEK’s Treats proudly stands for Bella, Emma, and Kolya–a trio of remarkable individuals brought together by the power of adoption. Bella, with her unstoppable spirit, was adopted from Ukraine at 11 months old. Kolya, hailing from the same country, joined the family at 2, adding a sprinkle of adventure. And all the way from Inner Mongolia, at the age of 8, came the artistic soul, Emma. Both Emma and Bella, our candy artists, happen to have Down Syndrome and Bella is autistic as well.
