Olu was started by two moms, local to Vancouver with their own children and busy families. We are both always looking for items for our kids that are not only really practical and functional, but we also want items that are really unique and original. We both take great interest in our personal style, but we are also both quite travelled and both our families are a mix of different cultures and ethnicities. Like any parent, we see uniqueness in our children and we want to showcase their uniqueness with original and unique clothing items. Therefore Olu is a shop where you can find items for your child that are not only incredibly functional, but equally as a unique. Just like our families our brand is a mix of cultures, from Korean and Japanese minimalist inspired styles, to the name 'Olu' which is Nigerian like our children.
