ABOUT US We only produce high-quality hair care and styling products in salon quality. We do not use any questionable and unexplored ingredients. a&o products are PETA-certified, vegan, silicone, paraben, sulfate and mineral oil-free, and are manufactured without animal testing. WHO WE ARE We're Ali and Toby. At the age of 15, we found our way and started out as hairdressers. Even as apprentices, we strived to be better than our masters and eventually got to know each other as young hairdressers in one of the world's largest stylist houses. Since then, we have been striving for the harmony between healthy hair, its perfect shape and people in their individuality. OUR PHILOSOPHY Along the way, we realized that it's not how many products we use that matter to us, but which ones and in what combination. Since 2014, we passionately develop hair care with all our knowledge for people who share this philosophy with us. We focus on what's inside and give you maximum transparency. ABOUT A&O The name a&o was created by German designer Peter Schmidt. Peter Schmidt was born in Bayreuth in 1937.
