I’m Kyle, a South African living in The Netherlands. I started making biltong in my apartment in Amsterdam because I could not find anyone selling quality biltong in The Netherlands. Hobby turned habit and soon I was making biltong for more than my personal consumption. That's when the penny dropped, Europe needs a source of healthy dried meat snacks. I met Wesley (my business partner), a true 'Amsterdamer' who was already making high quality barbecue-style meat products in a commercial environment. We connected off-the-bat, shook hands blindly and decided to start producing biltong together. It was picturesque. Thanks Wes. The focus was to build Europe's best e-commerce biltong brand. Our mission is to continually produce healthy meat snacks that people can trust and rely on. Made with minimal ingredients, you won’t find meat snacks like this anywhere else. Runder's biltong is all made with traditional South African flavours in mind and we use locally sourced meats to bring you the freshest and most delicious biltong that the internet can handle.
