selling my bleached shirts started on accident.. i made one for myself after staring at the blank shirt for an eternity wondering what it would be. people loved it — i made 12 of them for people on facebook and hand painted each one until a great friend invested in me and a cricut. that first shirt paid my rent and gave me a sense of purpose... have you ever felt you were in the right place at the perfect time? i considered every name known to man when deciding on how to brand but finally decided on my social media handle, whaddupkait. many times i've been called out at events, bars, you name it to someone yelling 'WHADDUP, KAIT?!' .. it's my nickname. it's who i am. why try to be anything else? (i also don't have to worry about hating it later, thankfully)
