Accentuates Clothing creates garments to assist women to magnify and radiate their beauty, mystery and magic. My customers are women who want to celebrate and empower their "Goddess Emerging". Unique, feminine and elegant draping style lines in soft stretch knit fabrics. Hi I’m Diane and my homegrown business is a little bit boho with a touch of dance flair. I love to see how fabric moves on the body, how it drapes and how to best flatter the body and accentuate its beauty. I design, pattern cut, manufacture and market all my clothing. I studied clothing design in the UK and along the way explored many forms of dance and the performance arts. The revival of local economies is very important to me and manufacturing with local/regional materials and technologies where possible. Supporting us here in North Carolina helps revive the re-expansion of our local industries - once a great hub of fabric and clothing production - and now rapidly returning. Read their story
