Thank you for supporting our family business from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Our mission is to end the abuse and inhumane treatment of dogs. We teamed up with the Vanderpump Dog Foundation to fight the mistreatment of our canine friends worldwide with a donation from each purchase going to support our cause. In 2015 our old fat black lab finally died after an amazing 13 year run. She was more like a human. A smart human. She never needed a leash. She had no interest in other dogs. It took me a few years before we felt comfortable enough to get another dog. We knew there could never be another Mahktar. We were right. Our new puppy, Ginger was adorable, but definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed. One day we were hiking in the woods and I was carrying around her wet nasty leash while she romped happily in the mud. Suddenly she got spooked and started heading for home. She normally listened to me, but not on this day. She ran all the way out of the woods, into the road, and got run completely over a car. I watched the front tire roll slowly over her body as the driver tried to stop... After some expensive vet bills, somehow she survived. It took her a while to recover, and she definitely learned an important lesson…as did I. But I started wondering why isn’t there just something there to grab when you need it. It seemed like such a simple idea. But it took seven years to turn that idea into an award winning patented product that dogs and customers love!Read their story
