In 2015, a 24 year old college student began making handmade jewelry in her dorm room inbetween classes to sell at local festivals in order to pay for textbooks. What started as one table at a few festivals a year, grew to a retail location in 2016 in Historic Smithville, NJ. As a result of rapid growth, Coastal Threads relocated to a 1,000 sqft store in the heart of Long Beach Island, our home town, in 2019. The shop features a plethora of handmade goods such as soy candles, wood burnings, hats, scarves, and of course our jewelry. As well as the latest fashion trends for men and women of all sizes from brands around the world. Welcoming a growing online audience, Coastal Threads joined Faire in 2019 to provide their in-house handmade products to an international platform.
