In 2018 MEXTEQUIL was born with a mission to promote Mexican culture and craftsmanship throughout the United States. From the very beginning, our vision was clear: to showcase the beauty and richness of Mexican artistry while providing a platform for artisans to share their talents with the world. As we entered the tumultuous year of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic presented us with an unprecedented challenge. With traditional commerce avenues shuttered, we faced the task of finding new ways to support artisans and bring their products to market. It was during this time that our commitment to the local economy and the livelihoods of Mexican artisans was reignited with even greater fervor. MEXTEQUIL is a family-owned Mexican company established in 2018. Our mission is to champion Mexican art created by artisan families through fair trade practices, promoting the excellence of Mexican crafts worldwide.
