Hartill is a small family run business based in the UK - Created by Contemporary Artist Michael Papworth and designer Kirsty. Hartill create and design unique yet colourful eye catching greetings cards and paper goods with an eco friendly ethos in mind without compromising on quality. Michael has previously worked at The Curwen Studio, at Chilford Hall in Cambridge, as a studio printmaker, where he worked to create original, hand drawn lithographs alongside artists such as Paula Rego, Tessa Newcomb and Mark Hearld. Having always been fascinated in the relationship between sky and land and how a calm or dramatic scene can be created, Michael uses texture, colour and the unique process of lithography to recreate this and tell a story of a forever-changing landscape. Kirsty has previously worked in the greetings card industry and has always been inspired to create paper goods through love of all things art and design. 'Together utilising both Michael's artistic ability and Kirsty's keen eye for detail and experience in the industry, we have created our first collection which we hope you will love. We hope to continue to extend our ranges in the near future and work hard consistently to create new designs regularly'.
