Hi, my name is Angelina Yorro, I am a woman from the Latino community, born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Since my teenage years I had developed a chronic skin condition named Hidradenitis Suppurativa, this autoimmune disease develops lumps around the body, mostly in the armpits, and groin. After dealing with this skin condition for more than 15 years, I decided to change my eating habits, and skincare routine, I started reading the labels and paying attention to the ingredients I consume, internally and externally. Even though I don't make deodorants, this was one of the first items I started to make at home and use. Becoming aware of the oils and products I used in my body, and family is one of the main reasons why I decided to start AY Bath & Body. I choose the holistic approach lifestyle, not only in the food and body products but also emotionally. I am a Certified Core Energetic Practitioner, Certified Aromatherapy practitioner, and also currently working on becoming a Reiki Master. Taking care of my emotions and energy has also brought to my awareness how my unmet emotional needs and childhood traumas have affected my body, as well throughout my life, and decision making.
