About Prarie Soap Shack

We create all-natural skin and body care products infused with plants of the prairies for people who want a connection to nature. Our curiosity with traditional and herbal uses of native plants led us to create modern self-care products that people can feel good about using on their skin. Trained as a nurse and herbalist with a farming background, the owner Jess grows all the herbs in her organic garden and also forages in the wild on their land in Central Alberta. Jess struggled with infertility for years and wanted to create a natural home, free of toxin-filled products to help her conceive and then nurture her babies. Our products are inspired by nature and the seasons, by nostalgia of the prairies, and eco-conscious values. From pureed saskatoon berries in soap to wildcrafted wild rose hips infused into our lip balms... we proudly grow and forage for our own ingredients for the highest quality products being produced in our new studio space.
