Hello, my name is Carlos, and I’m the founder of Inca Pica Foods. Born and raised in Peru, I grew up immersed in the world of cooking, helping my father run our family restaurant. Over time, I developed a passion for food, especially hot sauces, inspired by the diverse chilis in Peruvian cuisine. Inca Pica began in my small Long Beach apartment, where I perfected my signature green sauce after more than 32 batches. The turning point came when I decided to share my creation at local farmers' markets in Southern California, where the sauce quickly gained popularity. We expanded from one market to 32, and I knew it was time to get my product out to more people. After navigating the challenges of finding a distributor, I eventually secured partnerships with major grocery stores and distributors, including Gelson’s, Lazy Acres, and Grocery Outlet. Inca Pica is all about fresh, authentic flavor.
