About Aromelle

Hi, my name is Nicole and I am based in Liverpool and am also working as a teacher! I have always been creative and have dreamed of starting my own business since high school. My story of how I started my business is a personal one that involves mental health conditions but I believe that talking about these things is important! I have struggled with my mental health for as long as I can remember. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression as a teenager but displayed symptoms for much longer. if I was feeling low as a child, I would pick up a book and instantly be somewhere else- I particularly loved fairytales. I loved how being in their world meant that I could leave the worries behind in my own, even for a short while. Books became my way of finding relief from my worries and problems both at home and school. When I got older, self care became my escape, taking a moment to light a candle or a wax melt and just relax letting the scent take over me, allowing it to ground me and give me something new to focus on. It was only when I realised the importance of self care that I started to feel like I could find myself again. I never fell out of love with those fairytales though, no matter how old I got! I know I’m not the only one, so I wanted to combine the two and I really think I’ve done it and I couldn’t be prouder of our products, especially our fairytale line!Read their story
