Basmar was founded in 1975 by Montse Bassons. Today it is a family business guided by an avant-garde spirit where, since its inception, it has been dedicated to the design, manufacture and distribution of swimwear. Since its foundation, the brand has always been associated with swimwear and beach accessories where it is committed to quality, innovation, functionality and comfort in all its garments. Focused on the search for new trends, we don't forget traditional knowledge thanks to our extensive experience. Basmar swimsuits are designed from the first idea to the perfect sample in our design space/workshop in Barcelona. All our products are carefully designed and developed. Basmar does a large part of the collections in-house, which means thorough quality control. All orders sent to our customers are delivered directly from our fulfillment center. Our Activewear collection is a collection designed in Barcelona, it is made with the best technical fabrics, with recycled yarns, resistant to chlorine and pilling. We use ECONYL regenerated nylon fabrics, a fabric that is characterized by being made from recycled material. In our new collection you will find: Plain tops, with crossed backs, ergonomic, fixed cups, removable cups, reinforced seams and different levels of support, depending on what is needed.
