I believe in affordable art for all which led me to start a greeting card line. I view each of my subjects as an individual creature with its own distinct personality. All of the images used for Dandy Lion Press are original illustrations made from pen and ink drawings, watercolors, colored pencil drawings or linoleum cuts. Most of cards and all the notebooks are made in house and letterpress printed on vintage machines the oldest of which is over 100 years in age. The other offset cards are printed in collaboration with a small, local bay area, family owned print ship. Dandy Lion Press is woman owned and operated, founded in 2007 and located in San Francisco’s lively Mission District.
