Card Construction was officially created in 2013 in Prince Rupert, BC. My sister and I marketed to family, friends, and peers while using our parents’ basement as headquarters. While I chose to pursue an academic career, this didn’t hinder small scale production out of my dorm room in Prince George, BC. My sister, however, decided to step away from Card Construction and pursue design and apparel production as a career. Seven years ago I moved to Red Deer, AB with my significant other where I have continued to build Card Construction. My creations are selling in retail locations within and beyond Red Deer. My fulfillment really does come from dipping my toes in both my right and left brain. I am motivated to maintain a career within mental health promotion and continue to grow my small business. Looking forward to sharing my journey with you.
