Tohi was born from the enthusiasm of a small team of chocolate enthusiasts, followers of a modern and alternative lifestyle, in search of gourmet discoveries. Tohi takes you into the world of chocolate where the flavors are still natural and raw. Travelling the world in search of subtle and sometimes little-known tastes, Tohi Maîtres-Chocolatiers rely on yesterday's traditions to innovate today. The Tohi, a jovial, plump, endearing, and like-looking little bird, was first observed in 2004 in the Serranía de los Yariguíes, a small remote mountain range in northern Colombia bordering Venezuela. The announcement of the discovery of Tohi then became a source of inspiration for the creation of our chocolate brand. The bird makes the link between different horizons, evokes the exoticism of travel, freedom and nature. It is a symbol of poetry, fragility and cheerfulness.
