My name is Athanasios, I live in Greece and I design and handcraft Jewellery based on Ancient and byzantine Greek tradition. My workplace established on the holy mountain Parnassus, near Delphi, the ancient secret holy city the center of the earth according ancient Greeks. I choose to use "Rafael Santarosa" as brand name for my jewels and then my friends as well my customers started calling me Rafael Santarosa. I love the sound of this name and its secret meaning: Rafael is the name of the archangel of the healing. Santa Rosa is the secret name of the holy feminine, a symbol of Greek goddess Aphrodite. Is an hymn to the evolution of the female purity of soul, innocence and passion. A reminding of the fertility, beauty and abundancy that women carry only by existing. Besides, there is a second secret in the "Santarosa" name, Santore Santarosa was a Hero for greek people. He was an Italian rich man and minister who gave all his money and finally his life in the Greek war of independence. Since 1988 as Rafael Santarosa I am crafting unique handmade jewellery.
