Sugar River Trading Company is a family-owned business created in 2015 to take over the McNess Home Products brand. McNess products have been around since 1908 and feature favorites that include Champion Madagascar Vanilla Compound, McNess Organic Cleaner, Krestol Eucalyptus Gel, McNess Mentholated Camphor Rub, and other products that have been around for generations. Sugar River Trading prides itself on taking an old-fashioned approach to doing business— we don’t cut corners. We make decisions by deciding what is best for our customers and what makes our products better, not by what will shave a few pennies off of the cost. All of the McNess products are manufactured in the United States. All McNess items, except some extracts and spices, are our own, unique products. There are no other vanilla blends like ours. All of the health-based products are unique. McNess cleaning products are all original. No other products are like these—that’s why we have such raving fans: our products are different (and better) than anything else out there. At this time we are not selling on Amazon or in any big box stores. This creates an opportunity for small shops to have a unique product with a long history. (We don’t have plans to change this approach, but at the same time we can’t guarantee that we’ll never make a policy change.)
