The Alpaca Yarn Company was born out of a love of yarn and knitting and the animals that produce this amazing fiber. As an alpaca breeder since 2001 and a lifelong knitter, helping get alpaca yarn into people's hands was a perfect match. We develop yarns that allow crafters to display their creativity and skill. Our yarns are produced in Peru. We also hand-dye many of our yarns in our small facility in Pennsylvania. As a former yarn store owner, I understand the importance of a good relationship with the stores that carry our products so that they can best serve their customers.
