As the oldest of 10 children, I learned at an early age to re-imagine the old and create something new. This mindset has guided me through life, feeding my creativity and shaping me as a person. As an adult, my passion for music and classic vinyl inspired me to create timeless up-cycled pieces. All vinyl used in my process is sourced from a local music store. No new vinyl is ever used, only those discs that have played their last song are selected. This not only gives an extra uniqueness to each piece, but also keeps toxic chemicals out of landfills. Additionally, the flexibility and lightness of vinyl makes it an amazing material for jewelry making, allowing for even the largest of pieces to be comfortable while wearing. I feel grateful for stumbling upon this idea that has now become my world. I will always put everything I have into each individual piece I make because each piece has its own important story to tell. It brings me joy to create, and it is my hope that my creations will bring joy to others.
