Being a lover of exceptional chocolates, Jack Shaw joined the pursuit and began testing and creating small-batch artisan truffles. His chocolate adventure inspired the beginning of Le Grand Confectionary in Sacramento, California. In his pursuit to create the finest European-style truffle, Jack realized that quality and exceptional service must be the foundation of his business. His quest to create the perfect confection resulted in his a line of classic truffles, including 25 year-round varieties and specialty seasonal truffles that blend premium Belgian chocolate with the flavors of the chosen season. Le Grand’s distinctive dome-shaped truffles include traditional truffle ingredients like those made in Paris; dairy cream, real butter, quality chocolate and the finest flavorings and liquors. Le Grand’s classic truffles are artfully hand-decorated by our in-house chocolatiers. Over the years, many Le Grand customers have savored these little gems and told their friends.
