Kent Knapp picked up blacksmithing at 17 years old and never let go. 30 years and lifetimes later, we as a family have grown into this shop and life like slipping into a comfy pair of shoes. Each member of the family finding some part of the shop to love and flourish in. Kent and Shannon have been together those 30 years and 6 kids later, love and appreciate the talents and hard work of living and family owned and operated business. Every item received from our shop is hand forged by our family or the limited amount of apprentices we bring in to share our craft and pass on to future generations. All of our work is made from recycled products and the finished piece is an heirloom quality item of functional beauty.
