Since the beginning of development our design goals have been clear. Our dedicated aim was to create a unique, premium greeting card design which would let the recipient know that someone really cared. I was brought up in Northern Ireland and there, as in the rest of the UK, everyone knew that no matter what the problem was tea would always make it better! We decided that tea would make our cards better than the competition! Our idea was to include a premium tea bag in each card so that the recipient could enjoy a great cup of tea and feel better, uplifted, fortified, rejuvenated! We wanted to create something different that people would instantly warm to – a card containing tea that would be a pleasure to receive with a mini-experience to underline the message. Each of our Tea cards contain a premium Highland Blend teabag from Edinburgh Tea Company. This blend is light & delicate, the perfect afternoon tea. Each year almost 4 billion trees, around 35% of the total trees cut down, are used in paper industries all over the world. We believe that the practice of gift and card giving should not be at a cost to the environment, which is why our new card range is made from 100% recycled fibres and is recyclable, biodegradable & FSC certified. It is also produced with 100% green renewable energy and the unavoidable emissions generated are fully offset. We like to keep our designs simple but fun, this way we can help to keep the impact of the printing process as low as possible.Read their story
