As it turns out, they both traveled to their favorite place in the world, a remote island in the far reaches of coastal British Columbia. While their minds visited, a few moments of magic and a lot of inner peace transpired. When she's not dreaming, Nicole is an award-winning author and consultant to the book industry. In her past life, she owned an indie bookstore and nurtured a community of readers in the mountains of Colorado. Alice Feagan is a children's book creator known for her distinct cut-paper collage style. Her lifelong love of storytelling and art making led her to the world of picture books where she creates playful illustrations for children's books, magazines, apps, educational products, and games. When she is not making picture books, Alice can be found reading them with her two young sons. She lives in Edwards, Colorado and responsible for all of the art within these pages.Read their story
