About Too Haute Cowgirls

Our name was inspired by a picture circa 1910 of two cowgirls who looked fierce and fearless to my co-founder and me. Having founded the company in Aspen, Colorado, a turn of the century rugged mining town turned modern glamour spot, our name highlights the juxtaposition of our unstoppable cowgirl attitude and the haute ingredients that make our popcorn so yummy. We create small kettle batch sweet popcorn in fun and wonderful flavors. Each one starts with our rich toffee caramel popcorn and we take off from there using real butter, vanilla, sugar and locally sourced spices - no fake syrups here! Each bag is a decadent treat to be savored and enjoyed. Too Haute Cowgirls won Innovative New Product awards in the Gourmet & Premium category at the Sweets and Snacks Expo two years in a row for our flavors. Like our founders and the strong women who came before them, our Too Haute Cowgirls represent strength, grit, determination and perseverance. Today, we work with a mission to support non-profits who offer education, training, career and life development to help individuals and communities with high barriers to employment and education get ready for work and life.
