My name is Lauren Santiago, and I am the creator, owner, and designer of Tortoise Designs Stationery. I created Tortoise Designs not only to have endless stationery goods at my finger tips but also to bring my creativity to life. I am a self-taught calligrapher, letterpress printer, painter, and graphics designer. As a stay-at-home wife and mom of 3, I was motivated to find any way to help contribute and provide for my family. So I started my entrepreneurial career wearing almost every hat in the wedding industry imaginable. From cake designer to photographer to wedding planner assistant, you name it; I’ve most likely done it. After navigating the wedding world for the past 5-6 years, in the summer of 2019, I decided to take my love of all things paper and branch out into something new. Thus Tortoise Designs was born. Fashioning all types of stationery, from lifestyle to everything that encompasses a wedding, I implement warm earthy tones into my creations and keep on trend. My inspiration comes from the minimalism of Japandi interiors and modern jewelry designs. Our socio-artistic products have a handcrafted charm that you won’t find anywhere else.
