I am a multi-disciplinary artist, designer, engraver, and bench jeweler based in Portland, Oregon. My eponymous jewelry brand was founded in 2010. Thematically, much of my visual art explores conflict, inner turmoil, and dynamics of power. I utilize my own symbolic visual language that combines natural elements, and historical objects, alongside commanding and alluring forms and figures. My work is where I can explore my shadow-self, and shout into the void. My work has been featured in Juxtapoz Magazine, Beautiful Bizarre Magazine and blogged about by HiFructose and Boooooom. My central line, The Armory Collection subverts and re-contextualizes historic symbols of power by employing archetypes intermixed with contemporary motifs, to create modern, individualized narratives. This dynamic collection is composed of all-solid precious metals, all natural stones, and meticulous hand engraving.
