North Spore is based in Maine and committed to sustainability, social good, and making the world of mushrooms accessible to all. The company was launched in 2014 as an urban mushroom farm in Westbrook, Maine by three college friends -- an organic farmer, a mycologist, and a photojournalist -- each inspired by the regenerative potential of mushrooms to improve human health and disrupt the food system.
