After connecting with the local Syrian refugee community in San Diego in early 2017, designer Megan Reynolds found “her people.” Now, the women in these refugee families need to enter the workforce for the first time. Megan works with these women to develop skills and produce all the jewelry designs for Jamila Collective. It's about more than pretty jewelry. Each of our Swarovski crystal, pearl, sterling silver, and stainless steel designs are timeless, yet modern. The mix of stainless steel and sparkly beads and shiny pearls makes our pieces extra unique! Each piece is named after a Syrian refugee that Megan as met. Each piece is made by one of our four Syrian refugee makers that currently work with us. Each piece comes with a maker card that tells the story of the women who made the piece. Read their story
