It is a word that comes from the ancient Quichua language, which gave rise to the city of Quito, the capital of Ecuador. Our vegetables come from small-scale local farmers in the Equatorial region. They are grown from 800m of the Tropical Coast, up to 4,000m of altitude in the Andean Highlands. Kitu Snack, vegetable chips are handcrafted vegetable by vegetable in small batches of 15 to 20kg.
