Their journey started with a family movie night when their daughter decided to become a vegetarian after watching Food Inc. As dedicated locavores and parents of teenagers, they wanted to find a healthy, satisfying meat alternative to keep enjoying their favorite dishes. Using their medical background and love for wholesome food, they crafted a delicious ground "meat" from tree nuts, brown rice, and quinoa.
