MITERA “Greek mother” is both the name and umbrella brand of one of the first companies in the world to produce pure, cold-pressed olive oils of the highest quality from millennia old olive varieties. MITERA refers to the “mother tree”, an olve tree several thousand years old, which is reminiscent of an icon from the Mediterranean region. MITERA GmbH produces extra virgin olive oil with very high organoleptic and sensory excellent parameters. Their mission is to sustainably protect and secure the cultivation, preservation and economic value of primeval olive varieties in their original growing areas. In addition to the three pure premium extra virgin olive oils, MITERA GmbH will also be offering two new, DNA-certified products from January 2021 using the already known evOOs in harmonious combination with younger varieties. Consumers have absolute certainty about the origin of the olive varieties and the purity of the oils across our entire range.
