I create practical ceramics that are perfect for people who want to bring whimsy and fun (and color!) to their homes by using handmade, contemporary designs where they eat, play and live. Making things has always been a part of my life. I fell in love with clay after my children left home. A few years later I started selling my creations, and eventually left my corporate job to spend more time "playing with clay". I am very fortunate to have a studio in my home. Much of my work uses interesting shapes and bright colors, resulting in ceramic pieces that are both fun and functional. We should all have joy and beauty in our lives everyday. Creating things and knowing that my pieces have found a home where they will be used and enjoyed is what makes me happy.
