My name is Stefanie, I live and work in the beautiful city of Leipzig. After graduating with a focus on design technology, I lost sight of art for a few years. In 2019, creativity returned to my life, and I fell in love with ink, drawing pens, and watercolors. Since then, I have been creating ink drawings of the impressive architecture of my hometown and working on watercolor illustrations. I especially love botanical illustrations! In my work, I aim to capture the delicate beauty of flowers and the perfectly imperfect nature. Therefore, I usually choose wild plants and old cultivars as motifs and place the individual plant at the center. In 2020, I founded my label Ihana Artstudio and have been selling art prints, postcards, and calendars since then. Initially planned as a small side project, a lot of passion, patience, and time now flow into my art business. I experiment with new techniques and products, participate in art markets and exhibitions, and am part of an artist-run pop-up shop. All drawings and illustrations are handmade by me and then digitized. The print products are produced exclusively in Germany.
