Acala is an online store offering an extensive range of natural, organic and vegan health and beauty products. All responsibly packaged; refills, plastic free and zero waste packaging. Acala was founded by Hanna Pumfrey, a 30-year-old marketing professional with a passion for the environment and making the lives we lead more sustainable, without having to make big lifestyle changes. Sustainability became important to Hanna after a few years living and working in the city (London). She would watch the rubbish bins in her office fill up every day with paper cups and lunch bag wrappers as they all rushed blindly from meeting to meeting, completely unconscious to the amount of waste they were contributing to landfill daily, and she thought there must be a better way to do this! And there is! But as time poor city dwellers with demanding jobs and equally as busy personal lives, living sustainably with the current options and information we have can seem very difficult.
