Old Goat Soap Co. was born out of my passion for creation, cherished moments with my granddaughter, and as a way to honor my mother's memory. When my daughters were young, my witty father affectionately dubbed their Nanny "Nanny the Old Goat." Now, as a grandmother myself, I proudly carry on the tradition with the title "Nana The Old Goat." What began as a playful suggestion about starting a soap company with my 2-year-old granddaughter as the CEO evolved into something more meaningful. "Old Goat Soap Co." seemed like the perfect name, capturing the essence of our family's humor and love. As I laid the foundation for the company, I made a deliberate choice to allocate a portion of each sale into a savings account for my granddaughter. These funds, born from our shared love for our soap-making adventures, will one day provide her with the means to pursue her own dreams, with a little help from her "Nana Old Goat."
