LetterWood is a cheerful greetings and gift studio co-founded by Amber and Mike Walker in the quiet lake country of northern Indiana. The fresh personality of the company evolved in their imaginations while kayaking on sparkling rivers and hiking remote mountains. Creative inspiration comes from their love of outdoor exploration, old field guides, and sketchbooks filled with ideas. Amber creates an original line of hand-painted greeting cards, art prints, and a variety of fresh paper goods. She also designs handcrafted jewelry featuring her illustrations and signature beads made from natural materials such as stone, recycled glass, animal bone, coconut, and marine shells. LetterWood is deliberate in choosing eco-friendly, archival papers and packaging. High-quality papers are USA made, FSC® Certified, SFI-Certified, and Rainforest Alliance Certified™ featuring post consumer recycled content. Whenever possible, our packaging is Eco Clear made from plants and compostables, or recycled materials. Envelopes are made using citrus fruit by-products, recycled content, and 100% green energy. We use environmentally responsible methods to print in-house or locally here in the USA. Each product is carefully assembled and packaged by hand in our northern Indiana, lakeside studio. From the woodlands of the Midwest, to grand mountains and beautiful shorelines, the spirit of natural settings shine through in Amber’s artwork.
