Hi I'm Vix. Co-founder, (with my husband Alex), and mum of two. My family suffers with dry sensitive skin, eczema and dermatitis and I wanted to solve the problem of using petroleum based creams and lotions with a plant based alternative that really works and smells delicious! Butterwhips was born from my need to find a solution to the irritation we faced every time there was a flare up. It would change the whole mood in our house and was the number one reason for agitation and upset. I didn't want my children or husband unhappy - or ashamed to go out because their skin looked like pizza! We've created an relief to our skin ailments and thus our confidence issues. Made from 100% plant based skin nourishing and sustainable ingredients that requires minimal effort for application. Using carefully chosen vitamin rich ingredients, essential oils with antibacterial and or antifungal properties and recyclable aluminium packaging; Butterwhips is a fuss free, award winning organic whipped body butter that is soothing and occlusive to dry and irritated skin. Our range is hand made in small batches for adults and children who want lasting results AND care about sustainability/ recyclability of the products they choose. We're registered with PETA and The Leaping Bunny Program, vegan friendly and comply with cosmetic regulations in UK, Europe and the US. We're family run....(I do most of the running!), and based in our custom built laboratory in Cambridgeshire. Read their story
