Scarlett + Michel was born after the birth of our baby girl. Having bad reflux as a newborn and being bothered by the traditional bib around her neck, we knew we had to find something else. Noticing a void in the market for functional bibs and accessories that weren't restrictive, we decided to launch our brand. We knew that a bib was necessary to keep her clothes dry and clean, but we wanted something more functional and comfortable for her. Our inspiration to creating a one of a kind smart baby clothing line using soft and stretchy organic cotton with a bib that is functional, easily interchangeable, doesn’t bother the baby’s neck and stylish came from every day learnings from our daughter from newborn to toddler age. Our styles also allows the attachment of a pacifier strap or a bonnet at the same time by using our easy snap on and snap off design for the ease of use and to avoid getting lost. After receiving great feedback on our prototype, we started making our own baby clothing line and incorporating this patent pending design using the softest organic fabrics. Our styles incorporate beautiful designs for boys and girls that are comfortable, stylish and practical. Our designs will also make every mom a lot happier knowing she didn’t have to pack an extra top because her baby dirtied the one they were just wearing! Or knowing that the cutest bonnet she just bought or the pacifier that keeps your baby calm are still attached and weren’t lost in the morning walk! ?
